The PEPFAR Dashboards provide an opportunity to view PEPFAR's global investments and support as well as achievements and efficiencies in responding to the HIV epidemic. The information can be viewed with the goal to monitor PEPFAR’s progress and to evaluate the impact of our programs on the HIV epidemic.
The dashboards present information related to PEPFAR annual results, planned funding, central funding initiatives, and program expenditures in an easy-to-use format. All data are presented at the country and regional program area, and 2015 results data have also been presented by country subnational levels (such as provinces and districts). PEPFAR data for 2015 represent the initial year of the launch of our PEPFAR 3.0 strategy.
In conjunction with the realignment of program strategies to achieve epidemic control, data reporting has included more specificity in geographic location. Consequently, users of these data can explore patterns across different subnational geographic areas within a country and/or regional program, rather than relying solely on aggregated figures for the entire country or regional program.
These dashboards present data in a variety of formats, from comparison of subnational level results to country-wide trends over time to global patterns. PEPFAR encourages users to view, explore, and download the data to learn more about the epidemic and PEPFAR’s efforts to achieve an AIDS-free generation.
The President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) is the U.S. Government initiative to help save the lives of those living with and affected by HIV/AIDS around the world. PEPFAR is implemented as a collaboration of multiple U.S. Government agencies and is coordinated by the Office of the U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator (see www.pepfar.gov for additional information).
